Liability Limitations

Keith Skelton, Arizona Photography Workshops, California Photography Workshops, CHIAROSCURO Photography Workshops, Oregon Photography Workshops, Death Valley Photography Workshops, and all other photo workshops known as CPW, aim to provide every participant a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience. We act solely as agents for you regarding accommodations, special activities, and travel, by any means, and assume no liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, delay, mishap, or damage to persons or property arising from any cause during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto. We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. We can accept no responsibility for damage or loss of a participant's camera equipment and other personal items. We are not responsible for unforeseen events such as weather, emergencies, heath issues, and other circumstances beyond CPW control. We reserve the right to change our arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that we deem it necessary to cancel the workshop we will attempt to register you into a future workshop at the equal value. We reserve the right to cancel any workshop if our minimum student enrollment is not met. In the event we cancel a workshop, participants will be given the option to reschedule to a later date or receive a full refund. We are not, however, liable for expenses incurred such as airfare or accommodations, and for this reason we also recommend the purchase of trip insurance.

By registering, paying for, joining, and participating in this CPW workshop, you, the attendee, acknowledge that I have read the above information concerning responsibility and release Keith Skelton, his guides, instructors and any cooperating agent from any liability. Keith Skelton and CPW will assume no liability for injury, illness, or loss of personal property or expenses thereof associated with workshop participation. The participant waives any claim against the Keith Skelton, and any the advertised workshops. The instructor and/or its designated tour operator and tour administrator bear no responsibility for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.

By registering for a CPW, the participant certifies that he/she does not have any mental, physical, or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other participants.

Keith Skelton and his designated tour operators reserve the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept, or remove any participant on a CPW workshop. CPW, and the tour operators reserve the right, without penalty, to make changes in the published itinerary whenever, in their judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants.

Keith Skelton reserves the right to take, and use photographs of participants for web sites and other promotional material unless the participant desires otherwise.

COVID-19 and Photo Workshops

Photography Workshops will continue forward from January 2022.  I am monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic news daily as it relates to our ability to travel.

It is required that all clients are fully vaccinated for the safely of all.

We will strive to offer common sense COVID-19 mitigation protocols for every trip we will operate in the foreseeable future. Every location will be somewhat different depending on local regulations and entry requirements. Anytime we choose to travel, we must acknowledge the risk of contact to disease—COVID-19 or otherwise.

Some of the general travel protocols we will implement:

- Proof of vaccination.

- Until it is deemed safe by CDC or other official health organization to do otherwise, face masks will be required for all members of the group when indoors, in vehicles or when physical distancing of six feet or more between people is not possible. Fully vaccinated groups or those with negative test results may have varied requirements depending on location and situation.

- Guests will be asked to bring their own travel-sized hand sanitizer. I will have additional supplies.

-COVID-19 protocols will be discussed prior to the tour, how to implement them and steps to take should someone begin to show signs/symptoms while on the tour. Any additional protocol, other than in this notification, will be discussed as a group at the beginning of each tour.

-Meals in restaurants will be managed according to the protocols in place per local, state and/or federal (country) guidelines.  Each situation will require unique management and will be dealt with safely as possible. Participants may eat separately or in their rooms.

-Private vehicles will be preferred method of travel until further notice.

-Guests will be asked to refrain from handling photo equipment/gear that is not their own.

These protocols will be modified as needed and more is learned about this disease, and its mitigation as vaccines are distributed.
